What are Electronic Cigarettes?
Also
known as
electric cigarettes, e-cigarettes, smokeless cigarettes and e-cigs.
Whatever you choose to call them, these are a fantastic
alternative to traditional cigarettes. They can be legally smoked in
bars, restaurants, the work place, and are even TSA approved for
airports.
Electronic cigarettes are a tobacco-free version of traditional smokes.
Almost identical in size and feel to a regular cigarette. You inhale
vaporized nicotine from a small tube that heats up with the help of a
tiny battery.
Designed to look and feel like a normal cigarette, minus the flame and
smoke.
Like a traditional cigarette you get the same taste, the same nicotine,
but without the 4000+ chemicals found in tobacco, meaning you're not
breathing in all those harmful chemicals. When you inhale, the
electronic cigarette gives off vaporized nicotine.
People will be amazed when they discover that what you’re
smoking is actually an electronic cigarette!
Refill cartridges come in a variety of flavors ranging from typical
tobacco brands, to menthol as well as fruit flavors. Cartridges also
come in a variety of nicotine levels.
Smokeless e-cigarettes offer all 4 of
these things for the smoker:
- The hand to mouth action of smoking
- The heat and hit of the nicotine into your system
- The taste of the cigarette
- The exhale of smoke
What is missing is the tar and carcinogens, the lighter or
need for
fire to light. The smoke is actually just steam as electronic smokes
are vaporizers.
When you suck and inhale, it turns on the vaporizer and releases the
nicotine to be inhaled. You then blow out the vaporized steam. There is
no lighter, no mess, it never even gets hot. The steam has the warm
feeling of a real cigarette, without the fire. An artificial glowing
red tip is as close to a fire as you get with an electronic cigarette.
You can lay them down wherever you like with no worry of starting a
fire.

When you exhale, the only thing you see is a small cloud of
water
vapor that dissipates within 5 seconds. The beauty of this is that you
could literally blow this water vapor into someone’s face and
they can't smell a thing. (Not that you’d want to)
E-Smoking? How do these battery-powered cigarettes work?
Electronic
cigarettes are
battery powered and they vaporize nicotine, so you are actually
inhaling the nicotine vapor. You're getting the nicotine hit, but
without the toxic smoke and contents of the cigarette and tar.

Getting around the smoking ban:
Because electronic cigarettes are non-flammable and do not contain tobacco, it is not considered smoking and are therefore acceptable in many places. You can now smoke in bars, restaurants, airports, the work place and anywhere else that traditional smoking is banned or discouraged (home, car, etc.)E-cigarettes look exactly like old fashioned cigarettes, with a tip that glows and something that looks like smoke. However, they don't burn, don't cause air pollution the same way as a regular cigarette, and aren't banned in no smoking zones.
